Internet Technology is Transforming the Real Estate Industry in Destin

If you are a realtor today, you better have a website and be web saavy enough to understand the importance of technology in the industry.  Google has been making or breaking realtors around the country the past few years and only those who remain steadfast and keep up to date will have longevity in this game. While many realty websites are a jumbled mess of information, an aesthetic black hole if you will, they are still valuable.  In the near future this will not be the case.  Companies such as Incredible Agent now offer complete website solutions with listings, lead generation capabilities, effective design, advertising space, a contact management system, drip campaigns, auto responders, support, hosting, IDX/MLS, and email.  The goal is to merge everything a realtor could possibly need into one web system solution.  This makes it easier for the realtor and client to be served with everything he/she needs in a simple to use web application.  Google is also getting involved further in the real estate industry. Google now offers the ability to upload real estate listings into their "Base."  Google inserts it's "Base" listings into the very top of search results that include the search terms "real estate."  It can be beneficial to get listings in this "Base" as the more exposure an agent's listings have the greater the chances that listing has to sell.  These technologies are also extremely beneficial for buyers in Destin as well. Today, a growing percentage of buyers are doing a majority of their real estate research from the comforts of their own home.  They have the luxury of searching the MLS, shopping for mortgages, learning about neighborhoods, browsing pictures, and generally educating themselves so that when the time comes they can make an informed decision.  For realtors, this takes much of the legwork away if you have all the necessities on your personal website. Technology has changed the real estate industry and it continues to shape the way people do business.  For many realtors this means accepting this fact and adopting a better web presence for themselves and their clients.
